Kicks 98 (U8 boys) continue their successes with a major victory at the
National Indoor Championships. They captured the
North American National Indoor Soccer Championship Div. 1 on February 11 &
12th in Columbus Ohio. The boys posted 5 straight victories
outscoring their opponent by a
40 to 7
margin including 2 shutouts.

The team consists of Bowen Burdette, Matt Cook, Ben Ethier, Nick Freda, Michael
Kulczycki, Tyler Laurentius, Brian Oldani, Jason Ren, AJ Santavy, Aiden Shennan,
Brian Sockow, Daunte Toppi. Team is managed by Lou Laurentius with
assistant coaches Feng Ren and Keith Sockow. The Kicks are coached by Rich
Kulczycki.
This
is the second National Championship the team has competed for in as many months.
In January, the team traveled to
Orlando
,
FL
for the Kick It 3v3 National Championship having won the Chicago Regional
tournament in August 2005. The team reached the final round at the
Orlando
event.
