 PLYMOUTH, MI -

 At a recent Executive Committee meeting, the Plymouth Soccer Club announced it's change from Kicks & Lightning to the Plymouth Reign. While teams will maintain the Kicks & Lightning name for the Spring 2007 season, this change will take effect for the 2007/2008 season.

 The club came to this decision at it's February Executive Committee meeting after discussing possibilities of changing colors, affiliations (with AC Milan) and past name change suggestions. After a short process, the name Reign was chosen and the new logo designed. The designer is Brent Widlak, father of U10 player Cody.

 Denise Moote, Plymouth Soccer Club President, commented after the meeting, "I love the new logo. It has so much more character and provides Plymouth with a better identity for the future."
