Plymouth Reign Soccer Club is excited to announce a supporter's club partnership with Gold Star FC, the Metro Detroit-based professional franchise that is set to begin play in the National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) in 2023. 

The two clubs will collaborate on multiple initiatives including summer and winter camps, player pathway opportunities for Plymouth Reign youth players, VIP access to meet & greets, and a Plymouth Reign supporters' section at the stadium. 

“Exposing our teams to a professional environment that is very close to home will be a positive experience for our players and families. We look forward to working with Goldstar FC in any capacity that enhances player development in our club” said Plymouth Reign Director Worteh Sampson.

Gold Star FC Detroit is led by Chairman Dan Milstein, founder of Gold Star Group which includes Gold Star Mortgage Financial and Gold Star Sports. The latter represents high-profile NHL players including Red Wings great Pavel Datsyuk, two-time Stanley Cup Champions Nikita Kucherov and Andrei Vasilevskiy, and more.

Also part of the leadership team is Alex Lubyansky, a sports attorney and former University of Michigan Goalkeeper. Lubyansky has served in the front office of soccer clubs like FC Baltimore and Christos FC.

"Gold Star FC is thrilled to partner with Plymouth Reign Soccer Club," Lubyansky said. "We look forward to welcoming Plymouth Reign Soccer Club families into our organization, and we believe this partnership will help both clubs continue to grow our sport locally and nationally."

More details regarding the partnership will be announced in the coming weeks.  All current programs with Plymouth Reign will remain the same.  We are very excited to offer this partnership for additional soccer opportunities for Reign players and their families!

Congratulations to the 2008 Girls Green team and Coach Miki Djerisilo on their Spring 2021 State Cup Elite Championship, Spring 2022 NLC Prem 2 Division Champs (7-0-0 record), and the Cincinnati United Elite Invitational Division wins!

Congratulations to the 2002 Reign Girls Green team and Coach Miki Djerisilo for winning State Cup Premier Division and MSPSP Premier 1 Division Champs Fall 2020!

Congratulations to the 2011 Girls Green Team and Coach Yao for winning the U11 Silver Division at the Jaguar Invitational May 2022!
